About Albert
Say hello to Albert (affectionately known as Albie) – a stunning ragdoll boy whose piercing blue eyes will stop you in your tracks. But don’t be fooled by his movie-star looks… he’s also a lovable goofball with the sweetest personality.
Albie is a smoochy, easy-going boy who adores belly rubs, chin scratches, and as many cuddles as you can give. He’s also a little foodie – likely because he didn’t always have enough in his past – so mealtimes are one of his happiest moments.
When Albie first came into foster care, his gorgeous coat had to be shaved due to heavy matting, but it’s now growing back beautifully. With a little regular grooming, he’ll be back to his full fluffy glory in no time.
Albie truly deserves a second chance at the good life – one filled with love, comfort, and endless affection. He would thrive as a solo cat soaking up all the attention, but he also gets along well with other cats. His gentle nature makes him a great fit for families, including those with children.
If you’re looking for an affectionate, smoochy companion who will love you unconditionally, Albie is your boy. 💕
Medical notes
Prior to his desexing, Albert was spraying urine outside of his litterbox.
Albie's future family will also need to ensure he sees a professional cat groomer regularly to ensure his coat remains in good condition.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
