Meet Simba and Lumi, an inseparable bonded pair of charming Cavoodle crosses who are searching for a loving family. These delightful companions are not only affectionate and well-behaved, but they’ll add a sense of warmth and joy to any household.
Simba, at 12 years old, weighs in at a sprightly 8 kgs. He's a gentle older soul with a heart full of love for his human companions. Lumi, his 13-year-old counterpart, is a bit larger at 18 kgs and is equally dedicated to sharing his affection. Both dogs have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ensuring they are healthy and ready to embark on a new chapter with you.
Simba and Lumi's ideal home would be somewhere quiet and secure, with a fenced-in yard where they can relax and enjoy the outdoors together. They thrive in calm environments and get along well with other senior dogs. While they haven't been tested with cats, their mellow nature makes them suitable for families with older children over the age of 14 who appreciate their gentle demeanor.
Life with Simba and Lumi is a joy; they love nothing more than companionship and will happily snuggle by your side. Whilst they aren’t keen on being carried, they do appreciate quiet times and a soft bed. They are comfortable with short, leisurely walks and treasure the quiet moments shared with their humans. Their adoption fee is set at $695 for the pair, reflecting their bond and readiness to find a devoted home together.
If you're looking for two devoted, easy-going dogs to welcome into your home, Simba and Lumi are waiting to become a cherished part of your family. Open your heart to these loving companions and enjoy the unconditional love and loyalty they have to offer!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
