Merlin

Hello, my name is Merlin. I know, I may look tough but don’t let my size fool you, I’m really just a soft-hearted gentle giant looking for my forever family.

My Perfect Home Would Have:

· A family with experience with large, strong breeds.
· Possibly older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can handle my enthusiastic love. I would be too much for small children or frail adults.
· A playful, non-dominant dog friend! I have gotten along fantastically with my other foster brothers and sisters and would love a canine sibling to romp and relax with (slow introductions of course).
· A secure yard for me to explore and a comfy couch for me to sprawl on at night.

What I Offer:

· Unconditional Love: My heart is as big as my paws. I am very sensitive and loyal to my people.
· Good manners at home: I am a true gentleman at home. I'm crate trained, sleep soundly through the night, and am a wonderful, quiet companion.
· A Handsome Face: I’ve been told I have the most gorgeous, soulful eyes and the cutest whiskers.
· A Willing Student: I'm eager to please and I listen very well for my favorite humans.

Things I'm Working On:

· Lead Walking: I get very excited about our adventures and sometimes forget my own strength on the leash. My foster family is helping me practice my manners, and I'm getting better every day but am still very strong! A sturdy harness and a confident walker are a must for me.
· Greeting New Friends: When I meet new people, my tail wags my whole body! I just get so happy that I forget my size sometimes.

The Bottom Line: I am a sensitive,loving boy who needs a patient and understanding family to call my own. I promise to repay you with a lifetime of devotion, goofy grins, and the most heartfelt gazes you've ever seen.
