I’m a beautiful 3-year-old Alexandrine Parrot, and I’m looking for my forever home. I was hand-raised, so I’m tame, social, and I love being around people. My current family loves me very much, but they know deep down that I need a home where someone can spend more time with me outside of my cage and give me the quality time I deserve. As much as it will break their hearts, they want what’s best for me, and because Alexandrines can live for decades, finding the right home now is really important for my future.

I’m a sweet, loving bird and can be quite the companion. I do have a loud voice sometimes, especially if there’s a lot of commotion or I don’t have enough to keep me busy. Fresh fruit, veggies, and safe branches to chew on help keep me happy, and if I get a bit noisy, a cover over my cage helps me settle right down.

I’m also used to dogs being around, so I don’t mind sharing my space with canine friends. What I really need, though, is someone who is home more often, has time to have me out of my cage regularly, and who will enjoy building a strong bond with me. Alexandrine Parrots are known for their intelligence, playful nature, and strong personalities, and we can even learn to mimic sounds and words. We’re very affectionate with our chosen people and make loyal, lifelong companions.

My family also has my cage and accessories, which can be discussed directly if you think I might be the right bird for you.
