Meet Missy, the playful Jug (Jack Russell x Pug) mix who’s full of spunk and ready to charm her way into your heart. At just 1.6 years old, Missy weighs about 8 kg and is brimming with energy and curiosity. Hailing from Deebing Heights, she's fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed – ready to embark on her new life with her forever family.
Friendly and approachable, Missy gets along well with other dogs, making her a great addition to a household that already has furry friends. Although her compatibility with cats hasn't been tested, her sweet demeanor suggests she could adjust well given the right introduction.
Missy is also kiddingly child-friendly, enjoying the company of children aged 8 and up. She LOVES all kids all ages, but very excitable . Her lively spirit and playful nature ensure fun and engaging moments for older kids who can match her energy levels.
This adorable pup requires a secure fence to keep her safe during her outdoor adventures, as she does enjoy exploring her surroundings. An active family who can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation would be ideal for Missy.
Ready to meet Missy and perhaps welcome her into your home? Her adoption fee is $695, a small price to pay for a lifetime of companionship and joy. Bring Missy home, and you'll soon discover what a delightful addition she'll be to your family!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
