About Milo
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Gorgeous chunky monkey Milo is very sweet, very loving, very affectionate and just adores human company.
Milo was well loved by his previous people but sadly his previous home was a tad unstable at times. This home complete with many other pets and grumpy, noisy teenagers made Milo understandably anxious and he clearly was not happy, so his people decided the kindest thing was to find him a new home in a less stressful environment. But his previous owner loved him dearly and was sadly to see him go.
Since arriving in his foster home Milo has become a completely different cat. Now that he has a quiet home all to himself he has quickly relaxed and his beautiful personality has begun to shine through.
As an older cat Milo enjoys hanging out and doing his own thing but he also loves people. He enjoys a pat and a scratch, loves a cuddle, enjoys a tummy rub and a brush and will sleep on your bed with you if you let him.
He's not big on sitting on laps but will happily sit next to you while you watch you're favourite show. He is also quite a big boy so there is plenty of him to love.
Milo is used to living as an indoor / outdoor cat so a home with outdoor access would be ideal but so far he is enjoying cushy apartment living with his foster family in the CBD. He is also trained to walk on a lead and harness so supervised outdoor time may be an option.
We would love to find Milo a nice quiet home where he can kick back, relax and have a cuddle when he's in the mood. A single professional who works from home or a retiree would be a perfect fit.
If you're looking to add a chubby ball of love to your home then Milo is just the cat for you.
Milo is approximately 10 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in the Melbourne CBD with our amazing foster carers.
To express your interest please send us a message with your details and we will give you a call as soon as we can to discuss.
A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
