Hey there, I'm Hondo - part German Shepherd, part Malamute and 100% lovebug! My absolute favorite thing is hanging out with my humans. If you're looking for a big, fluffy shadow who thinks cuddles are life, then hi, it's me! 👋

Now, I should tell you - I'm currently heartworm positive, which means I'm on restricted exercise for a while. I'll happily swap long hikes for brain games, training sessions, and fun enrichment activities while I recover. 🐾

When it comes to doggy friends, I can come on a little strong at first (hey, I'm just excited to meet new pals!), but I'm really soft at heart. With the right introduction and ongoing socialisation, I'll do great. I might even enjoy having a confident female dog as my partner-in-crime - but we'll need a proper meet & greet first to be sure. 💖

Because I'm a big, boisterous boy, I'd do best in a home with older kids who won't mind when I occasionally forget my size and try to sit in their lap. And since I'm a Shepherd/Malamute mix, I really need someone with breed experience - someone switched-on who gets that I thrive with training, enrichment and structure. ✨
