Meet Janis!

Have you ever wanted a cat who feels like your little sidekick? Well, Janis is ready to apply for the role. This grey and white sweetheart, with her beautiful white markings around her eyes, will happily follow you from room to room, always nearby as your four legged support, but never underfoot.

She adores pats and cuddles, though she’d much prefer all four paws firmly on the ground (being carried around is not her cup of tea).

Janis is a lovely balance of calm and playful. She spends much of her day curled up, enjoying long naps, but when the mood strikes, she goes into her playful mode. When that happens, she is a champion fetch player, especially with her beloved toy mouse, and will proudly drop it at your feet, ready for you to throw again. She also loves a laser pointer, and it is so cute to see her bouncing around chasing the red dot.

This gentle girl has been in care since she was a kitten and has grown into one of those cats who is simply easy to love. She is wonderfully cat social and is strictly looking for a home where she can join another friendly feline. Dogs, however, are not her preferred company, so a dog free home is best, or one with a cat friendly calm dog who knows to give her space when she needs it. Janis shines in a calm, predictable environment and is therefore looking to join an adult household or one with respectful teens.

Janis is affectionate, loyal, and sweet to her core, the kind of cat who everyone loves.
