About Chuck Taylor - Meet me @ Petstock Prahran!
Looking for a buddy who'll always have something to say? Meet Chuck Taylor - our chatty, curious boy who loves nothing more than being near his people.
Chuck is a total social butterfly. The moment you walk in the door, he greets you with a chorus of meows and trills. He's not shy about showing affection either - expect head bumps, bops and the occasional dramatic flop right at your feet.
While he hasn't proven to be a full-time lap cat (yet!), Chuck has shown his softer side, curling up on a chest for a nap when he's in the mood. We suspect that once he has full house freedom in his forever home, he'll blossom even further and may very well become a lap-snuggler.
Like a lot of cats, if you pat Chuck for a fraction too long in the wrong spot, he'll let you know. It's nothing unusual, just part of his personality, and once you learn his boundaries, you'll find he's an absolute sweetheart. For this reason, he'd be best suited to a home without very young children. He is very cat friendly and will do well in a home with other cats, but will also be fine in a home just by himself. He has not been tested with dogs.
Above all, Chuck thrives on company. Whether you're working, watching TV or simply hanging out, he'll happily chill by your side, keeping you entertained with his quirky chatter and endless curiosity.
If you're after a cat who's equal parts affectionate, cheeky and charming - Chuck Taylor might just be your perfect match.
Chuck will be at PETstock Prahran in their adoption unit from Monday 1 September. Everyone is invited to head in store to meet Chuck during store operation hours.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
