Introducing the outrageously adorable Oriole ❤️

So let’s address the floofy elephant in the room, Oriole is a biiiiig boi! At 11 weeks old, he’s already over 13kg. Those ears give Dumbo’s a run for their money, his paws are the size of dinner plates and he makes miniature ponies look just that, miniature!

There’s also that Maremma mix thing. A good Maremma does their job. They bark! So from foxes, to a parrot in the backyard, oh was that a butterfly flapping its wings? They bark! And our Oriole is great at that Maremma chat thing. Maremmas are rarely suited to suburban life and thrive when they have work to do and a family to be part of.

This giant goofball is the sweetest natured dog you’ll find. His love of life is infectious, taking all things in his stride. Currently living in a foster home with dogs of all shapes and sizes, cats, chickens, lambs etc, Oriole is un-phased by them all. He is as happy pottering about outside, as he is sleeping and cuddling by the fire. This goodest boy sleeps soundly through the night in a crate with his littermates.

Oriole is looking for a rural home with some space where he will be included as part of the family inside. Being the breed mix he is, homes with working breed experience are preferred. As with all puppies at his age, homes where someone is around more often than not and committed to ongoing training and socialisation are important.
