Meet Maxi!
This shy guy needs a calm/patient home, he hasn't had much exposure to normal daily life so far. Therefore everything is new to him and can be little scary and needs the time to find his feet and trust his new family. Here at the pound we have already seen major improvements in his behaviour since he arrived as he is getting to know the staff. His confidence is slowly building and he is venturing out of his shell more and more everyday with the help of some of his 2 and 4 legged friends. Since he has been here at the facility he has ventured out of the pound on a walk and is starting to show his playful side. Getting out of his comfort zone has consisted of walking on lead, wearing a collar, being allowed inside which is still all new to him and still needs work.
All these joys are things that maxi hasn't been positively shown yet. Due to this he needs an owner experienced with nervous dogs that can dedicate time & training to socialise him well.
Adoption fee is $450 (includes all vet work)

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
