About King
đŸ Meet KING - His Royal Floofiness Awaits His Throne!
Behold! A noble presence graces our halls - King, a 5-year-old Domestic Medium Haired monarch of unmatched elegance and supreme whisker authority, seeks a realm befitting his royal decree.
Adorned in a resplendent coat of silken fur and possessing the commanding gaze of ancient feline dynasties, King is a true sovereign in spirit and stature. He does not trouble himself with the whims of mere peasants - nay, his majesty prefers the company of refined subjects who understand the honor of serving royalty.
His Royal Preferences:
Seeks a quiet, dignified castle where he may reign as the one and only feline-no courtiers (other cats) allowed.
Prefers no young squires or maidens under the age of 10; older children may be considered if they show proper reverence for His Grace.
Thrives in a serene, loyal kingdom where soft beds, warm sunbeams, and regular offerings of gourmet fare are provided.
King enjoys surveying his domain from lofty towers (aka bookshelves or window sills), and may occasionally bestow his favor upon his subjects with a gentle purr or noble head bump-if he deems them worthy.
His royal demeanor may be a touch aloof at first, but beneath the crown lies a heart that longs for companionship, loyalty, and a warm lap upon which to rest his weary paws (but only on his terms, of course).
If you are prepared to serve with grace and honor, and can provide the tranquil, regal home King deserves, then come forth and request an audience. His Majesty may be ready to choose you as his forever royal subject.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
