Meet Joplin, a gorgeous little tabby-and-white girl with four sweet white ankle socks and the softest fur you could ever touchāitās like patting clouds.
Born in late May 2025, Joplin is a young kitten with a gentle, affectionate nature and just a touch of shyness that makes her all the more endearing.
Like a few of her siblings, Joplin was born without a tail, which only adds to her unique charm. Joplin may be part Manx or Highlander cat but we can't say for sure as she was rescued from a backyard with her mumma, who also has no tail.
Joplin is a true sweetheart who will happily lean into pats once she feels safe, and sheāll melt your heart when she curls up beside you for a nap.
This girl doesnāt like being alone, so youāll often find her snuggled up with her siblings or another cat. If you already have a friendly feline at home, Joplin would be delighted to have a playmate and cuddle buddy waiting for her.
Sheās still working on her confidence with the dog in her foster home, but with time sheās likely to adjust to a gentle, cat-friendly pooch.
Children may startle Joplin at first, but in a calm and patient household sheāll gradually relax and show her loving side. With her playful streak and her love for company, Joplin will bring joy, warmth and companionship to the right family.
Joplin is a great little eater and has already mastered her litter tray thanks to her devoted mum. Sheās an easy girl to care for, and with love and patience sheāll reward you with years of affection and snuggly companionship.

**Dandy Cat Rescue is a small rescue run by volunteers. We care for cats and kittens in our own homes. We will respond to your request just as soon as we possibly can and thank you for your patience.**
Medical notes
Joplin was born without a tail, like several of her siblings and also her mumma cat, Tina. We believe it is a genetic trait and they may be part Manx cat.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. Weāll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, weāll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carerās home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
