About Ragnor
Introducing Ragnor, a handsome 1 year old black and tan kelpie with a beautiful nature to match.
Ragnor is seeking a career change. He’s not tough enough to be a Viking leader (or a working dog on a farm) but thinks he’s well suited to being a pet. He is a gentle soul who loves everyone and but is seeking a best mate for his next adventures.
Ragnor has been learning about life as a pet while in foster care and he likes it. He has discovered the joys of soft toys to play with and comfy beds to rest in.
He has mastered recall and a hand touch and is working on sit and drop. Walking on a lead is a new experience for him which means he has no well practised bad habits. His new family must be committed to his ongoing training so he can continue to excel in his new life. His house training is coming along well and he sleeps quietly all night in his crate. He travels well in the car.
Ragnor is living with 4 other dogs in foster care and has fitted in seamlessly with the other dogs. He is playful and loves a game of chase but if everyone else is snoozing in the sun that’s ok too. Ragnor has met the residents cat and chickens. He’s happy to let them go about their business without interference from him.
Ragnor loves to follow his foster mum everywhere but will settle on the floor of the office when it’s time to work. He would love his new family to include him in their day to day activities.
Ragnor needs a home that understands the needs of herding breeds and where he has room to move and stretch his legs and plenty of mental stimulation.
If you are looking for a new best mate, apply now!
Ragnor is located in NSW.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
