About Minnie
You won’t know you needed a chihuahua in your life till you meet this little legend!
Minnie is a just shy 5 year old chihuahua and weighs in at 3.1kgs
Minnie is a tiny bundle of love, ready to snuggle her way into your heart.
She’s a sweet, gentle, and affectionate little Chihuahua who lives for cuddles and quality time with her favorite humans.
Minnie has had her all vet work completed since coming into care and now she's ready for her furever home.
Like a lot of chihuahua's she can be nervous when meeting new people, but once confident Minnie becomes a confident little girl in her home, who is happy to be carried around and likes to be treated like a little princess that she can be.
Minnie is currently with other dogs of all sizes and ages (and temperaments) and whilst has no problems with them or would be very happy being an only dog or with one other small breed dog who is also happy to do their own thing at times.
Minnie is toilet trained and will happily use a doggy door or if door left open will happily take herself out to do ladies business when needed.
Minnie would also be a awesome apartment furkid as running around outside is not her thing.
Minnie does love to accompany her humans on adventures and go for small walks - she loves to be with her humans. Minnie walks well on a lead, especially when following other small dogs. Or would happily be carried in a bag or a pram - she is a princess after all!
Minnie is a very quiet little lady who will only voice her opinion in a small bark if you are ignoring her and she wants to be picked up and carried.
Minnie currenlty lives with a 10 year old boy and absolutely loves that he picks her up and cuddles her and snuggles with her on the bed whilst watching tv. She would happily with kids but as she likes to be carried we recommend 10 and over simply for safety when carrying her.
Her ideal home would be where she can be inside as much as she likes but still have access to outside for her lady business. Minnie would not cope as a dog expected to spend long periods outside.
Minnie's idea of sunbaking is in front of a heater turned on, but don't try and put clothes / jackets on Minnie she is not a fan!!
Minnie does like to sleep on the bed snuggled into a soft blanket (not a diva at all) and will happily sleep the night away (and if allowed the day!)
Minnie is not tested with cats - but most would be bigger then her so she would probably ignore.
