About Coyotee Pete
Coyotee Pete 🐾
Breed: Husky Mix
Age: 1 year
Status: Still a pup at heart
ACME Certified: 100% Wascaly Woofer
Beep Beep!
Meet Coyote Pete - our one-year-old Husky mix who's got the heart of a pup, the zoomies of a rocket, and the mischief level of a certain infamous desert-dwelling Wile E. If you're looking for a lovable rascal with a talent for misadventure and a heart full of gold, Coyotee might just be your perfect ACME order.
Coyote's got big plans - most of which involve wild zoomies, tail-chasing, and outwitting imaginary Road Runners. While he hasn't quite mastered building giant contraptions or painting tunnels on walls (yet), this clever boy does know how to entertain himself. And if your current dog is bored? Not for long. Coyote is best suited to a home with an existing dog - one that's up for playful antics and willing to show him the ropes.
He's still learning the rules of the game (no, Coyote, you cant attach anvils to balloons as a way to catch that pesky bird...it never works) so applicants with secure fencing and a sense of humor will be a great match. 🛠️ Bonus points if you've got experience wrangling cartoon-level energy and a good leash grip.
Goofy, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining
Gets along well with other dogs (he thrives with a canine sidekick!)
Still young and impressionable - training and structure will go a long way
Big fan of snacks, squeaky toys, and your full attention
Hasn't caught the Road Runner (yet), but remains optimistic
🎯 Ideal Home:
An experienced owner or a family familiar with high-energy breeds
Secure fencing (no portholes or catapults, please)
A playful resident dog to show Pete the ropes
Patience, training commitment, and a good sense of humor
Ready to take a chance on a wascaly pup with a heart as big as the desert sky? Come in and meet Coyote and let the ACME adventures begin. 🐶💨
Meet-and-greets will be prioritised for applicants who meet his needs - particularly those looking for a second dog and ready to channel zany energy into a lifetime of fun and love.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
