About Asher - 6 Month Old Domestic Short Hair
This adorable little man is Asher - Asher means happy and boy does this little guy embody happiness and friendliness! He has a stunning grey coat with unique stripes which is as soft as satin.
Asher is 6 months old and since being in foster care he has enjoyed meeting new people. He is quite confident and ultra snuggly - he enjoys being carried like a baby and sleeps on your bed (sometimes sneaking under the doona) on cold nights. During the day he wants to be wherever you are - he swaggers up to you with his super charged purr for pats and belly scratches.
Asher is friendly with other cats (he’s in foster care with 2 adult cats) - he likes to be near them and will play chasies if they let him. He is also in care with 2 small senior dogs and is learning that dogs aren’t scary. He is frightened of loud barking and exuberant dogs so he wouldn’t suit a home with an excitable or noisy one.
Due to Asher being such a social butterfly he would best suit a home where there are a few family members so that he can get lots of attention. His foster mum works from home so he loves to sit on her lap or sit on the desk watching her work on the computer. He is too little to be left alone for long hours (he cries) so won’t suit full time workers. He may suit a home with older kids/teenagers who are used to cats , a calm and gentle dog or a home with an existing friendly cat to bond with.
Asher is in foster care in Gosford, NSW, and is only available for adoption to Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle areas. His adoption fee is $250, and he will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.
