About Juniper
Meet Juniper, a bright, bouncy bundle of joy with a personality as fresh and spirited as her name!
Juniper is a sweet and affectionate girl, absolutely brimming with love to give. Acting like she was raised by cats, Juniper rubs all over your legs with her quirky way of showing affection that never fails to win over hearts. Her playful side shines through when she gets her paws on a plush toy -those are her absolute favorite! She delights in tossing them around and carrying them proudly, but the real fun starts when she gets to show off her expert toy-destroying skills. Whether she's rubbing all over your legs or happily dismantling her latest plush prize, Juniper's unique charm and playful spirit are always on full display.
Juniper has been diagnosed with anxiety, which sometimes comes out as bursts of bouncy, erratic energy- like she's trying to dance her worries away. Her zoomies and excited jumps are just her way of navigating big feelings, and she's currently on life-long medication that her new family will need to be aware of. But no need to fret! The team here at The Lost Dogs Home would be happy to go over her needs with you.
She's a real social butterfly who adores being with anybody who will give her love. She especially enjoys the company of other dogs, and would be happy with a dog brother or sister in her new home, one who can help show her the ropes and be a playmate. Please bring along all resident dogs to the meet and greet!
Juniper is still full of cheeky puppy energy that she's just learning how to master. She's still on her manners journey, and needs a patient home who can help her understand that jumping onto people isn't how everyone wants to say hello. Because of this she'll need a home with secondary school aged children or older, as she may knock over little ones with the force of her love.
She's currently learning all about polite greetings and how to manage her impulse control, and she's proving to be a fast and eager learner. She would thrive in a home that enjoys being active and can provide her with both physical and mental stimulation. Think fun walks, puzzle toys, games, and continued positive reinforcement training!
If you've got endless love and a few spare plush toys lying around, take Juniper home today!
