Meet the mystical miss Maple!

Maple came into our care as a very underweight stray, and spent some time in foster care to help her gain both weight and confidence! Here's what her fabulous foster carers had to say about her:

"She is a very sweet girl who just loves love! She is always up for a cuddle and a snuggle and loves being in contact with you at all times. She is super food motivated and loves to play games or training for treats and also loves a kong! She doesn't love being left alone or being put to sleep but that's just because she wants to be around you. She is a sweet bundle of energy that loves to go for walks and is very curious about new experiences, she also loves investigating around the backyard. Perfect for someone ready for lots and lots of cuddles!"

Maple will need her forever family to have secondary school-aged children and older, as she can be a little unsure around too much handling and has a little way to go with on-lead walk training. As she is a bit of a stage 5 clinger, she will also need to find her home with owners who are home mre often than not to ensure minimal stress for her <3

She isn't too wary around other dogs, so pending a successful meet and greet, Maple can go home with another canine companion. The shelter can be quite a stressy place for such a sweet sensitive lady, so we'd love to see her find her home sooner rather than later. Come and adopt her today!
