About Paddington II
Meet Paddington, a gentle two-year-old boy with a heart as soft as his fur and a personality that blossoms with love once he feels safe. Rescued from the streets alongside his siblings, Paddington has been patiently learning the comforts of family life in foster care. Now, this sensitive soul is ready to step into his forever home, where he can truly shine.
At first, Paddington may be shy and reserved—he’s the kind of cat who takes a little time to trust. But once he does, you’ll discover his affectionate side: sweet nudges, cosy cuddles, and spontaneous bursts of love that melt your heart. He’s happiest curling up under blankets, purring away, or sneaking in a cuddle when you least expect it.
Paddington’s ideal home would be a calm and patient one, best without other pets to start, so he has the space to settle and build his confidence. While he’s lived happily with cats and even a dog before, beginning as a solo cat will give him the gentle start he deserves. With time, reassurance, and kindness, he’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection.
A true explorer at heart, Paddington loves having safe spaces to roam—whether it’s a sunny room, a cat run, or a secure garden to potter in after the busy bird hours. He’s also quite the foodie and will never say no to dinner time! Between his love of climbing, snuggling, and a good meal, he’s a delightful mix of independent and affectionate.
If you’re looking for a companion who will adore you in his own gentle way, Paddington might just be the perfect match. With patience, love, and a quiet space to grow, he’ll transform into the sweetest, most loyal friend you could ask for—a true love overload waiting to happen.
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Paddington II sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
