About 7171 - Sprite
⭐️💧 MEET SPRITE 💧⭐️
Nature
Hey, my name is Sprite, but my Foster Mum calls me Sprity Kitty. I’m a pretty little girl, who is a mini me to her big boy Otis. I always find dark little hidey holes to snooze in and prefer being up high. My Foster Mum says I’m really timid but would love to be someone’s special girl, maybe with another cat. I often sleep at the foot of her bed but sometimes get crowded out by all the other fosters.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I haven't met any tiny humans, but they would probably scare me.
I’ve grown up in a big family with lots of foster cats and kittens, and they all love each other. I'm very shy.
I've seen a couple of dogs during my time at my Foster Mum's house, and they're okay if they don't chase me. I could probably live with a cat-savvy dog with a slow introduction at first.
Likes / Dislikes
I love my wet food treat in the morning and have biscuits available to nibble on whenever I want! I love to play with some of my Foster Mum’s cats, but the other ones sometimes leave me out. I enjoy sitting on the enclosed balcony, breathing the fresh air and watching the world go by. If I'm not there, I'm having a snooze anywhere up high.
My PURR-fect home would be with someone who will give me lots of love and affection and let me make the first moves in my own time. I would love to make friends with another cat if you have one — with the right introductions, of course!
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

7171 - Sprite
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: 02/01/2022
Adoption Fee: $50 reduced fee due to medical notes
*Sprite's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: An ultrasound of the heart has shown that Sprite has significant enlargement of the right atrium and increased pressure/flow through the pulmonic valve, which is highly suggestive of a congenital heart condition called pulmonic stenosis. This means the valve that allows blood to flow from the heart to the lungs is narrowed, causing the heart to work harder.
The defect is significant, and while some animals can remain comfortable for a period of time, the long-term outlook is uncertain.
It is recommended Sprite has her heart checked regularly at her annual health checks.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.

No known pre-existing conditions.
