If youāve always dreamed of having a piglet in your lifeālook no further. Goulash is the full package: affectionate, cheeky, snuggly, and just the right amount of mischief!
š¾ About Goulash
Goulash is a food-loving, puddle-splashing, snorty little character who will have you laughing daily. Heās got a big personality in a small, muddy package and is happiest when he's around his people (especially if you're armed with snacks).
Loves: Toys, cuddles, walkies, belly rubs, and being part of the action.
Hobbies: Snorting, snoring, snack-hunting, and shadowing you to the fridge.
Fun fact: He lives for blow dries. Got a hair dryer? Heāll be your best friend.
šļø Home Life
Goulash is crate-trained and happily trots off to his "bedroomā around 9 PM each night, snoozing soundly until 7 AM. During the day, heās okay being left at home with his toys or even better, with a doggy buddy to keep him company.
Heās quite easy to train thanks to his food motivation and is making good progress with leash walking. Toilet training is coming alongāhe knows where to go and usually heads back to the same spot, though might need a little patience while settling in.
š¶ Social Life
Dogs: Great with other dogs but can get a tad jealous if he's not the centre of your world.
Cats: Has seen a few cats and showed little to no interest but slow intro's required for success.
Kids: Best with dog-savvy kids as he can get a bit jumpy with excitement and is still learning gentle manners (especially when it comes to treats!).
š” Ideal Home
Goulash would thrive in just about any loving home, city or suburb, apartment or house. As long as heās allowed inside to be part of the family, heās happy. A garden is a bonus, but all he really needs is a comfy bed for his toys and a grassy (or fake grassy) toilet spot.
Heād love a daily walk, but heās not high maintenance. Once heās had his stroll and breakfast, heās content to snooze, play, or lounge around with you.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
