Shelby is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved. She came to us from the local pound so we don’t know much about her past.
Shelby is good with other dogs, having lived with several dogs of various sizes since coming into care. She really doesn’t like being on her own, so she is looking for home where she will have a doggy companion. She has told me this is not negotiable!
Shelby has been very interested in the resident cats, and not in a good way. So a home without cats is also a must.

After coming into care, it didn’t take long to work out that Shelby is completely deaf. Because of this she cannot be let off lead unless in a secure area.
Shelby walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys going on her daily adventure. She has also been good in the car on the short trips we’ve done so far. She has been sleeping inside at night and definitely wants a home where this will continue.

Shelby has such a lovely, gentle temperament. She loves cuddles on the couch, sleeping in the sun, chewing on a bone and just being with her people and of course, doggy companion.

Shelby is looking for a family who will include her in their lives, let her be inside and a part of the family, take her on adventures and give her lots of love and attention.
