About Pebbles
Pebbles is a beautiful, affectionate cat. She needs time to settle in to new places, but once she trusts you she is the loveliest, calmest, sweetest cat.
When she moved into foster care, Pebbles was really unsettled by the change in environment, but once she learned her new foster carer was trustworthy, she gave her cuddles and biscuits galore.
She's perfectly happy playing with her toys and sitting on the windowsill watching cat TV. Otherwise, you'll find her curled up taking a nap. If life gets too much for her, she'll take herself off and curl up in the wardrobe.
Pebbles needs a nice quiet household where she can feel safe. A big noisy household wouldn't be for her. She would also be happiest in a household with no other pets. If you'd like Pebbles to be your one and only, get in touch!
Medical notes
Pebbles has mild IBS and needs to be fed small amounts of food at a time. We can let you know the feeding pattern that works for her, and then she doesn't have any problems with it.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
