Violet came into our care as a stray, so much of her past is a mystery - and getting to know her will be a journey of patience and discovery. In the shelter environment, Violet has shown signs of anxiety, especially when meeting new people in the pen. But don't let her nervousness fool you - once she builds trust, she transforms into a calm, affectionate cuddle bug who adores belly rubs. She's a girl who just needs a bit of time, kindness, and space to show you the loving heart beneath the worry. Violet seems to feel more confident when she's around other dogs, so a well-matched male canine companion could really help her settle into her new home. However, she appears very fearful of cats, so we're looking for a cat-free environment for her.
