About Red
❤️ Meet Red – our handsome one-year-old Kelpie with a heart as big as his smile!
Red has been waiting at the shelter for a little while now, but you’d never know it – his spirit is as bright and happy as ever. From the moment you meet him, you’ll see just how much he loves people. He’s the kind of dog who will trot straight up, tail wagging, asking to be your best friend.
Red is a playful soul through and through. He adores his walks, loves running around with other dogs, and will happily try to convince anyone to play with him. Clever and eager to learn, Red is always keen to pick up new tricks – especially when there are cuddles and praise waiting at the end.
If you live with cats or in a home with other animals, Red will fit right in! His nonchalant attitude towards livestock ensures that he's a delightful addition to farmland or homes with various furry and feathered residents. He'll treat everyone with respect and never be caught chasing.
When playtime is over, Red’s favourite place is right by your side. He’s a big softie who loves nothing more than curling up close, soaking in all the love he can get. He’s wonderful with kids, gentle, and loyal – the kind of dog who will slot straight into family life and give back tenfold the love he’s shown.
After waiting patiently, Red is ready to finally find his forever family. Could that be you?
🐾 Bring Red home, and you’ll gain not just a loyal companion, but a lifelong best friend.
