Look at this handsome little red cattle dog, so sweet, totally adorable and off the chart as a snuggler. A gentle boy with his foster big brother as well as being very respectful and gentle with the cats at his foster home.

His big brother at his foster care house has been teaching him how to play and getting his house manners in place, such great mentoring for this young pup.
Huey has been introduced to dogs of all ages and sizes and did extremely well for such a young dog. Huey is currently in foster care with a larger cattle dog mix and he just loves his foster brother and carers, adores cuddles and is an all round versatile young cattle dog.

Huey travels very well in the car, sits quietly and waits until you reach your destination without any fuss. He does love to play with other dogs on any occasion he can, so having another family dog to be mentored by and play with would be a bonus but not an essential part of his adoption families package. As long as he got to meet other dogs at the dog park, had a few play dates each month and was continually exposed to other dogs so he can keep his excellent social skills up.

Huey has been working on his good boy house manners and would prefer a moderately gentle house with not too much of a crazy high level of activity by all of the humans. Of course he does want to be the centre of attention but he also needs his space so he can grow into the big wide world with confidence. He has been exposed to cats at his foster care house and is respectful towards them.

He will require puppy school to reinforce good manners. He thrives with good enrichment, and enjoys family time. He is confident around other pets, and fits in well to work/school/family routines. Huey is crate trained, house trained and will require a family who have the time to dedicate to providing him with confidence, training and loads of love.

As a working breed it is paramount that his forever family understand the needs of working breed dogs and that they are a lifelong commitment for the rest of their life. All of Huey's vetwork has been completed so he is ready to get on with the rest of his life at home with you.

Huey is looking for a family who want to welcome a "ready to go" pup into their family and share their love and time with.
