Nature
Eric and Ursula (affectionately called Pearl by her foster parents) are siblings who have been living with their foster family since November 2024, after a challenging few years. When they first arrived, they were very timid, but they’ve since come out of their shells and now rule the roost.

They’re still cautious and haven’t quite built up the courage for pats, but they love to play and spend time near their foster parents. They continue to improve every day as they try new things and grow more comfortable.

They require patience, but their foster parents are confident they’ll keep improving with love and attention - their progress has already been phenomenal!

💜 Ursula – Hello, my name is Ursula, but my foster parents call me Pearl! I’m a sweet, sassy lady who loves keeping you company while you do your thing at home. I’m curious, love to play, and enjoy doing zoomies with my brother. I especially like chasing him when he isn’t paying attention!

He plays a lot more than I do, but that’s okay — a little play session is all I need. I prefer lounging in the sun and watching him be silly. Food is the way to my heart — I love my meals and treats. If I’m hungry, I’ll just stare at you until you notice. I always eat before Eric, but I make sure to leave him some. I’m not quite ready to be touched yet, but with some patience and attention in a quiet, loving home, I know I’ll continue to open up. I already love being in your space.

💙 Eric – Hello!! My name is Eric and I’m a sweet guy who’s a little shy — but underneath that, I’m a real silly goose. I love toys and playing. My favorite obsession is chasing the laser around the house, especially on my playmat. I especially love playing with my sister, Ursula, even though she’s not always interested. She bosses me around a bit, but I don’t mind. We like to clean each other, cuddle, and run around the house together.

I’ve recently found my voice and now like to meow at my foster parents — and at Ursula — whenever I want to play. I love to nap near you, and while my confidence is still growing, I know that in a quiet and loving home, with some patience, I’ll only continue to improve.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We think having the company of another affectionate and cuddly cat might really help us on our journey. We’re not used to being patted yet, so having a feline friend to show us the ropes could be beneficial. We love each other’s company and need to stay together, but we’d be okay with another friendly cat in the mix too.

We’ve never met dogs or kids, but we think loud noises and busy environments might be a bit too overwhelming for us right now.

Likes / Dislikes
We both LOVE to play — especially with toys we can carry in our mouths, run around with, or chase all over the house. We’re also big fans of food, especially Ursula! During the day, we enjoy lounging around the house in all our favorite spots and watching the birds outside.

We think we’d enjoy the company of other cats, but we definitely keep ourselves entertained!

We enjoy Felix Doubly Delicious Fish Selection Wet Food, supplemented with Hill's Prescription Diet Cd Urinary Stress Wet Cat Food Pouches and Royal Canin Veterinary Calm Dry Cat Food. We are lovers of Churu Stix - but who isn’t?!

We get easily scared by strangers and loud noises, and sometimes need to hide for a little while. We don’t like being touched at the moment, but we’re slowly improving in this area. Feliway Diffusers have helped us greatly with stress relief.

We’re clever and very attuned to changes in our routines and environment — so much so that we’ve proven to be capable escape artists when it’s time to go to the vet!

Our PURR-fect home would be a quiet but loving environment, where we can be adopted together — or with a friendly feline companion. We’re timid and still coming out of our shells, so we’ll need patience and gentle care to truly open up. But trust us: we have big personalities just waiting to burst out!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
