If Tivah could write her own ad, it would simply say: “must love cuddles.” She’s happiest snuggled up with her people, joining in whatever you’re doing, and making sure you never feel lonely.

From her very first day in foster care, one thing was clear - Tivah LOVES people. She’s a total snugglebug who will happily curl up on you or right next to you, soaking up every bit of warmth and affection she can get. She likes to be part of your day, whether that’s “helping” with housework or just keeping you company. If she can see you but can’t get to you, she may fret a little, but if you’re out for a few hours, she’s content to nap in a cosy spot until you return, preferably with some doggy mates to keep her company.

Before coming into care, Tivah lived in very tough circumstances with many other dogs and had little exposure to the outside world. Everything beyond that backyard is still pretty new to her, but she’s curious, keen to learn, and incredibly resilient. Once she bonds with her person, her naturally brave and confident side really starts to shine.

Tivah is wonderful with other dogs and is currently thriving as part of a small foster pack. She loves a good play session with her foster siblings, but she’s just as happy keeping herself entertained with toys. At the end of the day, her favourite place is cuddled up with her people – and there’s no such thing as too many cuddles in Tivah’s world.

She’s only 8kg, but when she’s excited to see you (especially when you come home), she can get a little mouthy in play. Because of this, we recommend a home with kids aged 10+ who can understand her excitement and help her keep learning her manners.

Tivah would love a friendly dog buddy to play and snuggle with, but if she’s going to be an only dog, she’ll be happiest in a home where her people are around more often than not. She’s affectionate, loyal, and ready to share her big heart with the right family.
