Diesel comes to us from a loving home and was sadly surrendered through no fault of his own when his owners' circumstances changed. They only want the very best for him and hope he goes to a home as lovely as he is.

They describe him as: Playful - Tennis balls, beware. This guy will chase you like it's his full-time job. Affectionate - Expect nose boops, leaning cuddles, and "just checking you're still there" glances. Cuddly - Despite his working-dog roots, Diesel is also an expert in the fine art of couch snuggling.

At around 2 years old, Diesel is the perfect mix of active and chill. He'd love a home with older kids who understand that tail tugs and ear pokes aren't his vibe - but belly rubs? Always. Please make sure all kids in the household are present for a meet and greet.

Got a dog already? Diesel could absolutely live with a well-matched canine companion and will need a meet and greet at the shelter to make sure everyone gets along.

Diesel is a proud Australian Cattledog - a breed not known for lounging around waiting for life to happen. These dogs are smart, driven, and have the kind of stamina that would put a triathlete to shame. He'll need plenty of enrichment and space to burn off this energy and keep his brain sharp! Diesel will need to live somewhere where he has some backyard space to run around; he is not suitable to live in an apartment.
