About Long Walk On The Beach
Name: Long Walk On The Beach
Breed: Staffy X
Sex: Male
Say hello to Long Walk On The Beach - a name that's as charming and cheeky as he is! This bouncy little Staffy cross might still be a pup, but he's already mastered the art of spreading joy wherever he goes.
Affectionately known as Beachy, he's got a heart as big as his puppy eyes and a tail that never stops wagging. Beachy is all about people - if there's a lap to climb into, a hand to lick, or a new friend to meet, he's there in a flash. He's the life of the party, the king of cuddles, and the fastest at making anyone smile.
Playtime is serious business for Beachy. Whether it's chasing a toy, wrestling with a blanket, or just doing zoomies in the yard for no reason at all, he throws his whole goofy heart into it. But once he's tired himself out, he's more than happy to crash at your feet (or preferably right on top of you) for a well-earned nap.
Long Walk On The Beach isn't just a name - it's a promise. Of adventures, laughs, love, and a pup who's always ready to be by your side, no matter where the day takes you.
To book a meet and greet please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
