About Archie ๐
Meet Archie โ Your Loyal Best Mate!
Archie is a handsome 7-year-old German Shepherd (43kg) with a heart as big as his paws. Sadly, due to a change in family circumstances, Archie is now looking for a new forever home where he can get the love, time, and space he deserves.
This gentle giant has grown up with children, including from newborn stage, and has always been calm and loving with them โ though he may accidentally bump little ones when excited. Heโs also been social with other dogs, having happily stayed with family pets, and even lived peacefully alongside cats.
Archie has a lovely temperament โ heโs not food aggressive, not a chewer, and while he sometimes digs the odd hole, heโs never been destructive. He knows his basics: sit, drop, shake, and wait for his meals like a gentleman. Archie has mostly been an outdoor dog but is house-trained for toileting, and could learn to be an inside companion with the right guidance.
He does have a protective Shepherd streak โ heโll bark if other dogs are vocal nearby, and heโs prone to a bit of whining when he sees or hears people outside the fence. But with consistent attention, training, and time, Archie will thrive.
Archieโs ideal home would be one with space to roam, active owners who can spend time with him, and a family that values the loyalty and intelligence German Shepherds are famous for.
If youโre looking for a big, beautiful, loyal boy who will adore his people and be the perfect family companion, Archie is ready to meet you.
