About Betsy Bun Bun
Betsy Bun Bun was sadly one of the many pets dumped when things got "too hard", but fortunately for her she was brought in to a caring vet clinic by a member of the public. Betsy was emaciated, and had ear mites. She's had a long road to recovery, and is still gaining weight, but is now at a satisfactory weight for adoption. Naturally, Betsy loves her food! She is super clean, and does all her business in a neat litter tray. She is very friendly, outgoing, curious and everything anyone could ever wish from their bunny! Betsy will need a special home, where she will never be abandoned again, and never know what it is to go hungry to the point of starvation. She is a very special girl!
Update: Although Betsy was adopted from the shelter, she was returned less than 2 weeks later, because she attacks the elderly household cat. Otherwise, her adopters reported she was using her litter box all the time, does lots of waist-height binkies, was really happy to see and interact with them, was genuinely lovely out of her pen while free ranging in the house, liked to lounge on the rug in front of the couch, has shown no interest in chewing soft or hard furniture, and was a truely great house rabbit.
Betsy's adoption fee has been heavily reduced, to encourage an adoption. She really needs this to be her final home, she's already been through too much in her life to be rejected again. Please make sure you are ready to commit, if you would like to welcome her into your home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Did have ear mites, which she's recovered from.
