About August 🧡
Named after the quiet magic of late August - when the world starts to soften, shift, and slip gently into something new - Augi is in her own little season of transformation.
After a rough start on the streets, Augi has traded pavement for pillows and is now thriving in foster care. She might be a little shy when you’re not in the room, but the moment she feels your kindness - especially if you offer a gentle pat - she’s all purrs, snuggles, and roly-poly lap lounging.
Augi loves people and would thrive in a home where cuddles are plentiful and naps beside a human are respected. She is a major clinger and needs a home where her family will be around a lot, and will let her sleep on the bed with them. We have found that if she doesn't get enough attention or stimulation during the day, she will express her dissatisfaction by singing in the wee hours of the night.
She’s soft, affectionate and quietly blooming into her best self - ready to bring calm, cosy joy to whoever’s lucky enough to take her home 🧡.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
