🐈⬛🚀 MEET PATRICK 🚀🐈⬛
ATTENTION, PEOPLE OF EARTH! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live with a panther? What it would be like to be loved by a panther? Or even what it would be like to boop one on their little fluffy nose?
Well, wonder no more! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity coming to you from the team at Perth Rescue Angels. If you would like to be in with the chance at adopting your very own black panther, please read on...
Nature
Once upon a time there was a big, beautiful boy called Patrick (guys, I'm talking about me!). Okay, I'm not the best at telling stories but I sure am great at talking, so let's continue. I was found cold, wet and alone living on the tough streets of Perth. If that wasn't bad enough, I also had a gaping wound under my arm caused by a collar that was cutting into my skin. It was an exceptionally painful injury, but thankfully I'm big and tough and didn't let it get me down.
Finally a beautiful human found me and handed me over to an Angel and I have been in care ever since. My Foster Mama filled my tummy right up, tidied up my coat, and made sure I had lots of rest to fix up my injury. Now, weeks later, I am healed, healthy and happy, and ready to find my new family, yippee!
From the moment my pawrents laid eyes on me they were smitten. They are constantly telling me what an amazingly cute and funny boy I am (it's true; I'm pretty great!). I'm a big, confident teddy bear who becomes everyone's best friend the minute I meet them.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I am a HUGE fan of everyone and everything. People - love them. Cats - love them. Dogs and kids - unknown, but my Foster Mama thinks I'll get on famously with them so long as they treat me kindly and respect my boundaries.
I live with a number of foster cats and have immediately tried to befriend them all. Some of them are a little wary of my size, but I'm a big friendly giant; there's nothing scary about me! I would do well in a home with or without animals. So long as there is a human or animal that will become my best friend, I'll be a happy little chappy.
Likes / Dislikes
My Foster Mama says the reason I come in such a chonky package is so that it can hold my big, beautiful heart. I try to keep in shape - What? Round is a shape! - by eating all day. It takes a lot of discipline to look this good but someone has to do it! The vet said I could stand to lose a bit of weight. I know, right? How dare he talk to a gentleman that way!
My favourite thing in the entire world, aside from food, is love! When it comes to love, I go from zero to one hundred in five seconds flat. My favourite way to show love is head boops. I don't mean those wimpy, gentle head boops - I mean those really hard, painful headboops. The harder the head boop, the stronger the love; that's my motto! And I love harder than any kitty you've ever met before.
Other things I love include exploring, making new friends, cuddles, head pats, being brushed, and belly rubs.
My PURR-fect home would be with a kind and caring family who want to give a BFG the best happily ever after a boy could dream of - a family with plenty of love and affection to give, which they'll throw around like confetti! My main wish is to find a home where my belly never rumbles, my bed is always soft and my heart is always full.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
If you would like to apply to adopt Patrick please come and meet him at PETstock Baldivis this Saturday from 10am until 1pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
