About Caleb
Caleb is a gentle, soft-natured boy at 8 months old, and he loves the company of both people and other dogs. He has slotted into his foster home very well and is an easy, relaxed dog to have around.
He and his siblings were the result of an accidental litter, and have lived together until now. As such, Caleb has not had much exposure to the big wide world as yet, but he is responding very well to reassurance from his foster mum as he faces and learns about things that are new to him.
After a couple of weeks in his foster home, Caleb has learned how to sit and to walk nicely on the lead, and always comes when he’s called! He’s also learning about going out in the car and how to be a good café dog. He quite enjoys this as long as it involves treats - food is one of Caleb’s favourite things! Caleb is a very trainable dog and learns very quickly – once he’s done something once or twice, he understands what’s wanted. He’s more than happy to relax with his foster brothers in the backyard during the day, and sleeps soundly in his crate every night.
Caleb’s favorite thing to do is to play and chase around with other dogs and he would love to live with another dog or two (18 months +) who could show him the ropes. As a young pup, he is a blank slate who will respond very well to kind and gentle training.
With his relaxed and affectionate nature, Caleb will make a beautiful family dog, and he is looking forward to finding his forever home with his own family who will give him guidance as he builds his confidence, plus lots of affection, company and activity. If you are looking for a loyal, gentle best friend in your life, you could not do better than meeting Caleb!
