🐾 Personality:
Gracie is a gentle soul who takes a little time to get to know new people, but once she does, she is incredibly loyal and affectionate. She has made great progress with her confidence. She has even been to cafés and happily sat by her foster’s side, calmly interacting with people nearby. On walks she is showing wonderful manners, walking nicely on lead and ignoring other dogs around her. Gracie enjoys the company of other dogs and must go to a home with another canine companion to help build her confidence.

🎓 Training:
Gracie is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. She is learning her basic commands and will need ongoing training, which she responds well to with patience and consistency. She is already showing she is a smart and willing learner. With time she will grow into a beautifully well-mannered companion.

🏠 Perfect Home:
Gracie will thrive in a quiet, calm household with older children (12+), an active retired person or couple, or someone working from home who can give her the reassurance and company she loves. Because she has only ever known a peaceful rural lifestyle, she will do best in a home on acreage away from suburbia, where she can continue to thrive. She has proven to be good around chickens and cattle. Another dog in the home is essential, as she gains confidence and comfort from canine companionship.
