Beau is a beautiful, gentle boy who has found shelter life a little overwhelming. Right now, he's feeling quite shut down in this busy environment, but underneath his uncertainty is a kind, curious dog just waiting for the right person to help him show his true personality.

Beau will need a quiet, calm home where he can take the time he needs to decompress and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. He's best suited to a home with no young children and ideally no other dogs, so he can focus on building confidence and trust at his own pace.

Once Beau feels safe, he'll show you glimpses of his true self - quietly seeking your attention, sometimes unsure how to respond when he gets it, but always trying. It's in these little moments that you'll see just how special he is. Helping a dog like Beau isn't just about giving him a home - it's about giving him the gift of feeling secure, loved, and understood. And the reward? Watching a dog who was once timid begin to wag his tail with joy just for you.

Beau will also need regular visits to a Fear Free-certified groomer throughout his life to keep him comfortable and stress-free during grooming.

To help set you both up for success, Beau's adoption fee includes a post-adoption consult with our Behaviour Team, giving you guidance and support as you navigate his first steps into his new life.
