To understand this gorgeous girl you need to hear her story.

Ayadara came to rescue because she had been surrendered to the pound. Her owner was going overseas. She bred lots and lots of puppies for him. A Back Yard Breeders dog. A dog that lived her life in a backyard. She was terrified in the pound. She sat at the back of her kennel and growled continuously at people. Her euthanasia was booked. A very special kind and caring human that worked at that pound read that it was fear, hyper stimulation as opposed to anger and nastiness. This beautiful soul confidently walked her away from the noise of the kennels. There was only kindness to be found in Ayadara. Rolling on her back for belly rubs. Now she desperately needed somewhere to go that understood her and could help her. We didn’t ask anything of her; just leaving her to chill and decompress from all she had experienced.

She’s been here a while and has gained confidence. She loves routine as most dogs do. She’s happy now, bouncing around being the goodest of good girls. She especially likes cuddles and massages.

Ayadara gets on well with other dogs. She loves to play. Treats are an absolute favourite of hers; as are cows hooves, pig trotters and stuffed kongs. I feed her in a Kong.

She doesn’t bark for no reason. She even liked the cat when she met her through the wire, with a happy wagging tail.

Ayadara lived in a back yard all her life. The outside world is all very new to her.

She needs someone who has patience and time to introduce her to and help her understand new things and make her believe she is forever safe.

She knows and responds to lots of words. Come, Sit, Back, Down, Up, Inside, Outside. The words good girl actually make her smile. She walks nicely on the lead for me.

When you sit down she gently puts her front feet on your legs and leans in for a snuggle. Shes an awesome snuggler! Soft and gentle and so full of love.

We are hoping to find someone that would adore her and keep her mostly inside because of her beautiful white coat. Someone that understands the damage and negative effects that high UV days can have on white dogs.

She doesn’t chew things up. She rarely barks.
