Reggie

Say hello to the one and only Reggie!

This young man has come into our care as a stray and is now seeking his retirement home!

Reggie has just come back from foster care, and done a wonderful job. Here is what his foster carers had to say:

"Reggie is a big-hearted boy in a 9-year-old body, but don't let his age fool you. He still has that puppy sparkle. He absolutely adores people and will happily follow you from room to room, tail wagging so hard it sends his whole body into what we lovingly call his "pretzel walk." His love for company is infectious, and he'll curl up at your feet during car rides, always eager for a new adventure with his person.

Reggie would thrive in a no animal household where he can be the centre of attention. He has shown some food guarding behaviours around other dogs, and due to his intensity, he is not suited to living with cats either. A pet-free home will give him the calm, consistent environment he deserves.

He's incredibly affectionate, expressive, and full of personality. Reggie sprawls across the bed like a little king, belly up and paws in the air, lightly tapping you when he's ready for snuggles. He's looking for someone who understands that sometimes the best dogs just need the right environment to truly shine."

Reggie is happy to live with primary school aged kids and older. Please make sure that all kids are present in the shelter for a meet and greet!
