Spencer is just a young cat-barely out of kittenhood-but already he's learned what it means to be passed over, again and again.

Other cats meow for attention, press their paws to the glass, steal hearts with antics and charm. Spencer doesn't know how to do that. Instead, he sits quietly in the corner, eyes following every person who walks by, as if silently hoping-maybe this time.
No one stops.

He's gentle. Sensitive. Sweet in the kind of way that hurts your heart a little-because he doesn't ask for love, but you can tell how badly he wants it.

Spencer needs someone who sees him. Not just as another cat in a shelter, but as the quiet, soulful companion he longs to be. Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who won't give up on him, even when he's too scared to come close right away.

He's not broken. Just a little bruised by the world. And with time and love, Spencer will bloom.
