About Whisky (jameson)
Meet Jameson - Aged to Perfection, Full of Spirit đ„đŸ
Breed: Working Dog / Staffy Mix
Age: 4 Years
Best Served: With love, on the rocks (aka a sunny backyard), and perhaps another playful pup.
If you're looking for a dog with depth, heart, and a whole lot of personality - Jameson might just be your perfect pour.
Aged to smooth perfection over four wonderful years, Whiskey has matured into a balanced, affectionate, and loyal companion. Like her namesake, she's bold, full of flavour, and leaves a lasting impression. Whether it's her Staffy cheekiness or her Working Dog smarts, this girl knows how to blend charm and energy into a very loveable mix.
Tasting Notes:
Palate: Affectionate, fun-loving, and confident. Jameson is always ready for adventure - or a cuddle.
Finish: Calms beautifully after play, loves a snuggle on the couch or a nap in the sun.
Pairing Suggestions: Another playful, well-mannered dog (she loves canine company!) and a family with kids aged 6+ who can match her enthusiasm.
Her Ideal Home:
Jameson thrives in a home where she's part of the action. She loves the company of humans and dogs alike and would do best with another pup pal to play and wrestle with. She's polite, social, and has enough energy to keep up with an active family - but she also knows when it's time to mellow out and enjoy the quiet moments.
While she's no rowdy wild spirit, Whiskey is best matched with slightly older kids (6+) who can appreciate her zest for life and respect her boundaries.
If your family loves long walks, backyard zoomies, and a loyal sidekick with a heart of gold, Jameson is your girl.
Raise a glass (or a leash) - and meet Jameson today.
Smooth, sweet, and ready to pour her love into your life.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
