Puzzle

Say hello to Puzzle.

This gorgeous blue eyed boy will steal your heart (and probably your slippers too). Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this guy will fall in love in with his sweet, cheeky nature.

Puzzle is a 3 year old Jack Russell/Border Collie X and another one of our hoarder pack. At 9kg, hes a small/medium size dog with a tail that can wag his whole body.

Adored by everyone he meets, Puzzle just wants to love and be loved. His greatest wish in life would be to sleep in bed next to his person every night, but he can be persuaded to sleep in his crate if needed, especially if bribed with tasty snacks.

Despite his rough upbringing, Puzzle gets on with all creatures great and small including dogs, cats and children. He loves a good rough play with his giant canine foster brother and to snooze alongside his feline foster sister (when she deigns to allow it). He'd do great in a home with another dog to play with or with someone who is home a lot to give him the love he desperately craves.

Puzzle is a medium energy dog and can get excited around meal times. When really excited, he leaps and bounds around and can get nippy and but is easily redirected to toys for something more appropriate to chew on. This has gotten better over time as he's been learning his manners.

Puzzle is highly food motivated which makes training pretty easy. He is good on the lead but is still working on toilet training. He'll go to toilet outside when asked to but isn't consistently letting you know when it's time to go outside.
