Hi there, my name is Pookie. I’m a handsome, gentle little boy who loves being stroked and talked to! I love playing with my sister, Kirsty, and getting loads of attention.

I’m gentle, calm and friendly. When I’m not playing or investigating, I will sit on your lap and purr happily. Quiet words, treats, and pats are the way to my heart.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
As for kids, I am happy to play with anyone. So as long as they’re careful and supervised, all ages are fine.

I love my sister and would probably get on fine with a gentle older cat.

I haven’t met any dogs but could probably become used to a canine friend.

Likes / Dislikes
I really like being stroked, playing, and being talked to. I also love sitting quietly cuddled on your lap or watching birds through the window.

What I don’t like is aggressive older cats, sudden loud noises or very rough play.

My PURR-fect home would be with adults and supervised kids who like to play with me and stroke me. I am an indoor boy because I feel much safer inside, and I can’t get scared by dogs, people, or chase birds. I’m happy to try an outdoor cat run, though, as I like watching those birds.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
