Hippo is a sweet, timid boy with so much love to give - he is just waiting for the right home to help him come out of his shell. While he may be a little shy at first, with time, patience and kindness, his friendly nature starts to shine.

Hippo isn’t quite ready to live with other dogs just yet, but with the right guidance and positive experiences this could change. Because of his sensitive nature, he would do best in a quiet, understanding home - ideally with rescue experience where he can be given the space he needs to build confidence at his own pace.

Most suited to: A loving and understanding home, preferably with rescue dog experience, possibly with older dog-savvy children and as the only dog for now.
