Profile and needs in a home
Hello! My name is Bee, and I am an "oodle," combining the best of both a poodle and a cavalier. Weighing in at a petite 7.8kg at around 5 years old, I'm a little bundle of busy bee joy infused with a spirit of love and adventure. My past may have lacked exposure to the broader world, but with the kind and patient guidance of my foster carers, and whilst I can still be uncertain of new experiences outside of the home for the most part I've blossomed into a loving and friendly companion, eager to discover all that life has to offer.
I've also met my foster carer’s older grandchildren, who I love hanging out with so I think I would be suited to a family with kids over 9 who understand gentle, respectful play and provided they could meet my needs with daily walks and activities outside of the home.
I thrive in an environment that encourages lots of activity and play. Whether it's having the zoomies around a secure garden or chasing my favorite toys, I'm a "busy bee" indeed! A young, active doggy friend would make the perfect playmate for my boundless energy and endless love for doggy games. I'm also good in the car, making me an excellent companion for an active family that enjoys outings to parks and engaging in outdoor fun. While I mainly sleep in my own bed, don't be surprised if I try to sneak into bed with you for some warm cuddles.
A home that can provide a secure outdoor space with no resident birds is ideal for me since I have a knack for chasing them away to protect my backyard. Although I'm mostly indifferent to cats, a confident, dog-savvy feline might make a suitable companion.
Super smart and eager to learn, I'm absorbing the concept of boundaries quite well, despite it sounding a bit boring. My journey to becoming the best version of myself is well underway, and I'm searching for a loving home that will continue supporting me along the way. If you believe you can offer me a nurturing environment, I'm ready to shower you with endless affection and companionship. Let's make a wonderful team!
If you would like to make an application for Bee, please send us some detail on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Bee would be alone, where she will have access in the home, where Bee would go if you went away and could not take her with you, and ability to cover vet expenses.
