About Teddy
Introducing Teddy!
Teddy is a Pomeranian born 25 February 2025.
Teddy was a surrender as he was living with 6 cats and they were not coping with a new dog in the house.
His surrender profile has stated that he is house trained, travels well in a car, can be left alone with no problems, is friendly with children, adults and strangers, friendly with dogs and cats, can walk on a leash and has been groomed with no issues.
Since being at the Facility we have found Teddy to be an absolute delight, he can be a bit nervous when he first meets a person, but in a minute he is their best friend.
He is only just 6 months old so he still has so much to learn. Pomeranians have a life span of 12-16 years so you will have a long time with Teddy as your BFF.
We would love to see Teddy go home with his own family and think he would thrive with children to grow up with.
With any introduction to any other animal, being a cat, dog or pocket pet we stress as long as it is done under controlled conditions and slowly, Teddy should be ok as he is still such a young pup.
He still has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Teddy will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Teddy's adoption fee includes his desexing & lifetime registration.
Teddy is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Teddy, please email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and we will send you an Expression of Interest and our requirements.
Teddy is not available for interstate adoption.
Teddy is looking forward to meeting you at East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
