🧡 Meet Garfield – The Gentle Ginger Boy with a Playful Side 🧡
Garfield is a beautiful young ginger kitten with a sweet, gentle nature. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he has a soft curiosity about the world that draws him out of his shell. Give him a safe, calm space and just a little patience, and you’ll be rewarded with a loving, playful companion.
Once he feels comfortable, Garfield’s personality truly shines. He loves to play – whether it’s chasing a feather wand, batting a ball across the floor, or pouncing on a toy mouse, he throws himself into the fun with kittenish enthusiasm. He’s also quite food-motivated, which is a great way to win his trust and encourage his confidence. Mealtimes are one of his favourite parts of the day, and he’ll happily trot over to see what’s on the menu.
Garfield also adores spending time with his siblings. They play together, nap together, and keep each other company. Because he thrives in the company of other cats, Garfield will need to go to a home that already has a friendly, cat-social feline, or he can be adopted with one of his siblings so he always has a playmate and snuggle buddy.
Garfield’s ideal home would have:
• Another cat-friendly cat in the household, or adoption with one of his siblings
• A calm, indoor-only environment where he can feel safe and secure
• A family who will give him time to settle and allow his confidence to grow at his own pace
• Young enough to adapt well to a cat-friendly dog with proper introductions
• Gentle, respectful children who understand how to interact kindly with a shy kitten
As a typical young kitten, Garfield’s personality will continue to develop over the coming months. With love, patience, and the right environment, he’ll grow into a confident, affectionate cat who will be a wonderful lifelong friend.

All of our animals come:
✔️ Desexed
✔️ Vaccinated (1–2 vaccinations – any future ones are the adopter’s responsibility)
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Flea & Worm Treated as needed
🏡 Indoor-only homes are required – regardless of council laws.

You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for a meet & greet:

📝 Once approved, your adoption journey includes:
1. A friendly chat with the foster carer
2. A meet & greet
3. If it’s love – adoption! 💕
🐱 Interested in a Petstock Pod Cat?
If a cat is located in one of our Petstock pods, you’ll need to:
🏪 Visit the store in person
📄 Apply directly through that Petstock location
✅ Follow their in-store adoption process
We cannot approve applications submitted through our form for Petstock pod cats – those adoptions are managed by the stores.
