About Queen Mary
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This gorgeous little lady is called Queen Mary and she's on the lookout for her new forever home.
This beautiful little lady is very sweet, suuuuuuuper affectionate and absolutely loves people. She's also very sassy and full of personality, hence the name Queen Mary.
Mary was adopted from a shelter when she was around a year old and was very timid when she first arrived. She spent the first year in her new home hiding but with time, love and persistence she found her confidence and became mummy's little girl.
Mary was well loved by her previous owner but they had to travel and could not take her with them, so they reached out to us to find her a new home.
She comes from a loving household and had a lot of love to give.
Her favorite pastimes include sleeping on her foster mums bed, cuddling on her foster mums bed, or sleeping and cuddling on her foster mum lol. If you're lying on your stomach she will take this as an invitation and park herself on your back.
She also enjoys play and is very talkative.

Mary does not like to be picked up and cuddled, she prefers to come to you for a pat when she wants. She lets you know when she’s had enough loves by giving you a gentle swipe. Other times she just likes to sit on you without you paying her any attention. She also has a very loud purr when she is satisfied and happy.
She is used to being an indoor outdoor cat with the freedom to come and go as she pleases and warm herself in the sun when she feels like it. She has settled into the cushy indoor lifestyle of her foster home nicely and is enjoying foster life but we get the sense she does miss the outdoors from time to time.
She does not mind the company of other animals but is more than happy to tell them to go away when she's not in the mood.
When visitors drop by she will come check them out then return to her room once she is satisfied all is well.
She is not a fan of young kids.
We would love to find Mary a quiet home where she can kick back, relax and have all the cuddles her heart desires. A retiree or home body who's looking for an insanely affectionate companion would be perfect.
If you're looking at add an adorable, sassy and cuddly little lady to your home then Mary is the cat for you.
Mary is approximately 8.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
