Nature
Sandy may only have one eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down for a second! This brave little fluffball has overcome a tough start in life and is now ready to charm her way into yours. She may be the softest and sweetest kitten you’ll ever meet. Like her brother, she’s full of fun and loves to play but also super relaxed and happy to just chill next to you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Sandy hasn’t spent any time around children but she would likely do well with kids as she is super sweet and gentle! She has not met any other dogs or cats but she wouldn’t mind a home with more friends!

Sandy's very adaptable, but a calm and patient environment will help her settle in faster.

My PURR-fect home would be in a home full of warmth and fun. I will need humans who understand that I am a little different due to my vision. I would love a cosy warm bed near yours where I can feel safe and warm.

*Sandy's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Sandy had her left eye removed due to Buphthalmos (an enlarged eyeball typically caused by congenital glaucoma). Sandy's right eye has a cloudy area in the center (called central corneal opacity), and there is a part of the coloured part of the eye (iris) that is stuck to the back of the cornea where the cloudy area is. Her pupil responds normally to light, with no eye ulcers, however there may still be reduced clarity or blurring of vision in that eye. Due to this, Sandy will need to be a strictly indoor only cat.

🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs
